Ivy On The Wire is a 2D visual novel style game developed to help teach the history of trauma and resilience of different populations in SE Arkansas during WWII. During the game, players experience the stories of four individuals; Miho, a Japanese teenager being interned at Rhower, Angelo, an Italian POW at camp Monticello, Leslie, an African-American man just released from peonage, and Margaret, an investigative reporter.
For Ivy On The Wire, I did significant research and worked with collaborators to develop a historically accurate design. I was the primary project manager, establishing scope and timelines according to our resources, and adjusting as needing using agile development methodology. I was also the art director for the project, creating the initial art direction, developing shot lists and character blocking, and leading the art team through the project to deliver a polished project on-schedule.
